Nail Trim and Pad Clean and Clear
A nail trim might not seem like a terribly important task, but it actually is. Not only will trimming the nails make your pet look better, but it will also:
- help prevent the nails from breaking
- prevent nails from growing into the dogs pads which is painful and can lead to an infection.
- prevent the foot from growing incorrectly, changing the way your dog walks and potentially leading to more serious bone and joint issues.
Cleaning and clearing the pads out of excess hair will:
- help the dog grip the floor using their pads rather than sliding around on overgrown hair
- prevent grass and other plant seeds from sticking in the pads and taking root
- prevent bacteria and infections
Nail trim and pad clean and clear are included in our package services and are provided for free for customers in between their regular grooming sessions if needed.
